CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER (CMO) – JCC ASSOCIATION OF NORTH AMERICA (JCCA), NY: APRIL 2016 - PRESENT
JCC Association is a nonprofit organization, the affiliating body for JCCs, YM-YWHAs, and independent camps in the US and Canada, providing lay and professional development through training and financial resources. JCCA supports US Military chaplains through a signature program of advocacy and outreach. Through an expanding role, now as a critical member of the c-suite, charged with supporting current leadership, and previously maintaining the institution during multiple protracted leadership transitions, guiding the organization to rebuild communication platforms, elevate the experience of all sponsored events and training, and reestablish a public profile. The latter effort jump-started during the bomb threat crisis that endangered the JCC Movement in 2017. 
RESULTS: • PR initiative and positive media response during a crisis affecting member centers • Currently refocusing all communication to reflect the business model transformation and subsequent audience outreach

CREATIVE DIRECTOR – JCC ASSOCIATION OF NORTH AMERICA (JCCA), NY: AUGUST 2014 – APRIL 2016
Developed the implementation tools and strategy for JCCs to adopt the first continental rebranding effort in more than a decade. Created proprietary training for executives and marketing teams to build a movement-wide understanding of the brand ethos and the fundamentals of marketing. Produced all lay and professional events, print publications, video productions, and digital offshoots.
RESULTS: • 100+ JCCs adopted the rebrand in under one year without the usual franchise dictates or funding

CREATIVE DIRECTOR – INDEPENDENT CONSULTANT, US - CANADA: AUGUST 2012 – AUGUST 2014
Provided creative direction and guidance for private clients and startups. Counseled business teams through brand strategy, and the design process, for better collaboration with creative partners and successful outcomes. Examined business goals against the desired objectives to set expectations for production, budget, and realistic results.

CREATIVE DIRECTOR, BRAND DESIGN – FOOD NETWORK and COOKING CHANNEL, NY:  SEPTEMBER 2007 - AUGUST 2012
Brand governance for all network outlets, CPG, and digital divisions of both television cable brands: identity, mission, consumer positioning, and all communication architecture. Holistic creative leadership from strategic planning through production and marketing tactics. Managed all external agencies/vendors, sourced the freelance talent pool, supervised an in-house team of 15 to 50 creatives.
RESULTS: • Food Network top 10 broadcast channel, #1 food website, #1 culinary magazine, and NYT best-seller books • Cooking Channel brand foundations, from initial sales to light switch launch of consumer brand to 80million homes.

ART DIRECTOR / SENIOR DESIGNER – FOOD NETWORK, NY 
Project and design lead for the food channel's on-air and off-air promotion and directed in-house produced rebrands.

Pitched concepts and developed various design projects for broadcast networks, cable shows, and an assortment of brands.

Guerrilla design tactics to produce visuals for the independent film channel, live festival award shows, and brand subsidiaries.
